The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

To provide a single point of contact (SPOC) for victims and witnesses ensuring a professional, and seamless support service from the first point of contact through to the conclusion of an investigation and outcome at court.
To manage and engage with victims and witnesses throughout the investigation at key stages in line with the Victims Code of Practice (VCoP), identifying those victims entitled to an enhanced service. To Facilitate liaison between victims and witnesses, Dorset Police, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), His Majesty’s Court Tribunal Service (HMCTS) and support agencies to ensure effective trials.
To maintain performance and timeliness in line with both local and national standards are consistently met and complied with, in line with the Victims and Prisoners Bill and VCoP.
