Starting salary £44,310 rising by annual increments to a maximum of £48,546 per annum.

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

To provide strategic management support to the Combatting Drugs Partnership (CDP) – a pan-Dorset group delivering priorities of breaking drug supply chains, delivering a world-class treatment and recovery system, and achieving a shift in the demand for drugs.

To coordinate the implementation of the CDP and produce an initial work programme in line with the ‘From Harm to Hope’ strategy.

To co-ordinate the delivery of this, and subsequent, work programmes, as agreed by the CDP, and to administer the meetings, including sub-groups of the CDP.

To ensure the timely delivery of centrally set milestones for the CDP, including the production of the local needs assessment and action plan.

To be responsible for the delivery of responses to national requests from the Home Office Joint Combatting Drugs Unit.  

To draw on existing data and information to support the delivery of the CDP work programme, and to review and measure progress against the National Combatting Drugs Outcomes Framework.

To support and ensure alignment with other related aspects of criminal justice and community safety policy as set out in key local strategies.

To work with statutory partners, service providers and the third sector to aid the delivery of key objectives.
