A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home. 
This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role, travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy.

Starts at £23,556 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £24,462 per annum

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Working within the Contact Resolution and Command Centre (CRC), you will be supporting new emergency contact handler apprentices.  You will be the administrative support working within the CRC apprenticeship team, coordinating, and communicating with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the delivery of the apprenticeship programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your administrative skills and feel a part of the police family as you will be ensuring that the apprentices are ready to take those emergency 999 calls and help the communities of Devon and Cornwall.

The role requires:

  • Experience with coordinating and communicating with external suppliers/stakeholders 
  • Good planning and organising skills to make best use of resources 
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a proven ability to meet customer expectations 
  • A competent user in the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel and any in house databases 
  • Demonstrable skills in gathering information from a number of sources and the ability to present that information in an appropriate manner 
  • Experience in working as part of a team

You will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, and flexitime will apply. The role can be based at Police Headquarters, Middlemoor or Crownhill Police Station, Plymouth but there may be occasions when remote working is possible, subject to business needs.
