Starts at £24,921 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £27,351 per annum

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

PURPOSE

To ensure that the preparation and presentation of the documentation for the Independent Scrutiny Panels are completed. 

Support the Adult OOCD Manager in providing a professionalised out of court disposal process for the force. This will include liaison with organisations providing Diversion Courses, HMCTS (Courts)  and officers across the force.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide a comprehensive support function to the Adult Out of Court process by  administering the diversion interventions, preparing quarterly papers and monitoring disposals.

Securing places for offenders on courses, and liaising with the organisations around course compliance.

Keep records of all out of court disposals; maintaining usage, uptake, and attendance information.  Providing data to the OOCD Manager

Providing support to Adult OOCD Manager around the organisation of Independent Scrutiny Panels.  Producing agenda and circulating meeting papers to members.  Booking dates/location for panels taking into consideration all panel members availability and that of the minute taker.
