HR Employee Relations Officer (Policy/Procedure)
The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of two high performing organisations dedicated to delivering for their communities. The Employee Relations Officer role is a unique role within Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police. The primary responsibility for the post holder will be the research into and drafting of HR procedures, with some ad hoc elements of policy or project work. The post holder will not be involved in HR casework.
While office based there will be some scope to work flexibly from home, subject to agreement.
The successful candidates will operate within the ER Team and fulfil the role of ‘Professional Advisor’ in accordance with the People Department Operating Model. Providing professional, specialist and technical advice to managers pertaining to the full Employee Relations (ER) remit including policy, legislation, regulations, and procedures.
The post-holder is required to lead the formation and continuous review of all procedures and processes that support ER Policies including planning, scoping, researching, reporting and recommending change and continuous improvement.
This role will also be responsible for assisting the ER Project Manager with the delivery of specific projects allocated by the Head of ER that can relate to local, regional or national developments.
