The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

An exciting opportunity to come and work for a finance department working across two police forces in the South West. We are currently recruiting two Senior Accountants to join our busy Alliance Finance Department, providing Business Accounting support to Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police Forces.
This will be a challenging and rewarding role. The forces have a combined revenue budget in excess of £500m and a combined capital budget in excess of £35m. Responsibilities will be varied but will include managing the monthly budget monitoring process, overseeing capital reporting and co-ordinating the MTFS process alongside the Head of Business Accounting. You will manage a team of Management Accountants and Accounting Technicians who provide a wide range of support to both operational and support service budget holders. You will deputise for the Head of Business Accounting when required, represent the Finance Department at meetings across the Force, and nationally.
