ICT Field Support Officer
The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.
Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

The Alliance ICT department provide technology services to Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. From the radios, cameras and phones that our officers and staff wear, to the complex systems that enable our control rooms to respond to 999 and 101 calls, and everything in-between that our 10,000 employees and volunteers rely upon to support our communities.
As a Field Support Officer, you will be helping to support ICT equipment in Dorset.
The ICT Field Support Team are based at our Winfrith HQ, from where vehicles are provided to visit our offices and police stations throughout Dorset.
The team provide traditional PC support services plus support for mobile technology and police communication equipment, for which training will be provided.
Technologies we currently utilise include Lenovo laptops, HP desktops, Samsung smartphones, Motorola radios, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, MS Configuration Manager etc.
The role offers lots of variety in a friendly department that is proud of playing its part to support policing in the South West.
