Hybrid Worker
A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home. 
This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role, travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy.

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

To provide a high-quality fundraising function for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), encompassing all aspects of income generation open to policing, including bid identification, idea generation and bid writing, as well as developing more innovative opportunities around the development of the Safer Dorset Foundation charity, a key delivery partner of Dorset Police and the OPCC.

To administer and further develop the existing OPCC grant giving schemes, in support of the strategic delivery of the Police and Crime Plan and wider policing objectives.

 To work with statutory partners, service providers, the third sector, and the community to research and develop bids that support the strategic delivery of the Police and Crime Plan.

 Ensure compliance with the grant terms for funds received by OPCC, reporting on grant outcomes to funders (typically Government), establishing key information outputs and outcomes, identifying delivery challenges, and reporting progress to funders as needed.

 To network with and mutually support effective relationships with key stakeholders across the county and build productive relationships with counterpart roles in other OPCCs in the Southwest to form a ‘bidding network’ for the Dorset PCC.

 To further develop appropriate processes and systems for the effective and efficient management of the OPCC grant funding and reporting schemes. To assist in the development and management of the Safer Dorset Foundation Charity.
