A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home.

Internal and External Recruitment
Starts at £24,921 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £27,351 per annum

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

We recognise the value volunteers add to policing, through improving community engagement, increasing available resources and skillsets, and allowing officers and staff to focus on frontline duties. As a Citizens in Policing Development Officer, you will be joining a professional and friendly team responsible for all aspects of volunteering across the organisation.

Reporting to the CiP Support Manager, you will support, nurture and champion volunteers to ensure they are valued and embedded throughout the organisation. This includes ensuring they are effectively recruited, led and supported; and that skills are recognised, utilised and enhanced. This will involve liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation and working with a range of external community partners.

This is a varied role which will enable you to work on initiatives that support policing and our communities. This is also a great opportunity, not only to join our Police Force, but to be a part of one of Devon and Cornwall's largest employers and gain from all the benefits that brings.
