A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home. 
This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role, travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy.

Starts at £34,968 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £39,036 per annum

The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

The Alliance ICT department, provide technology services to Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. From the radios, cameras and phones that our officers and staff carry; to the complex systems that enable our control rooms to respond to 999 and 101 calls; and everything in-between that our 10,000 employees and volunteers rely upon to support our communities. 

Our forces operate from over 150 police stations; and premises shared with partner organisations such as councils, fire and health; to cover any location from the Isles of Scilly to the New Forest border.

You’ll be joining our Networks team, where you will gain exposure to enterprise platforms and respected industry software.               

Whilst the understanding of networking fundamentals is important, it is also vital that you want to make a positive difference within the service and help improve policing outcomes. We are committed to the continued personal and professional development of our teams and therefore formal training can be provided.

As an Analyst in the Networks team, you will be part of the team helping to develop and support our Network services. Providing a high level of service, delivering good value for money and maintaining security standards.

For this role, your base will be Winfrith and your time will be spent across our offices in Dorset, however there will be an occasional requirement to visit our offices in Exeter. There are also opportunities to work from home when an on-site presence is not required.
